Urgh finally sanity has returned to my life

Well, that's another college year over. I really don't know wheather to feel elated or sad as it is my final year here.
I have my results, got honours in my degree so am happy. Am starting my job next week, so all is good on that front.
Got a new camera, am happy. My other one of 5 years died on me after the graduation ball before the exams.
As usual, rushed to get everything finished and submitted before I was finished up in Carlow.
The novels at the time totally got to me and I couldn't read them then. Am catching up over the holidays.
Have to apply for courses. Hope I'm not too late to do so.
If I had two words to describe what it's like to be back home. It would be probably that it was beautifullly dull.
Was so tired after I finished my exams.
In other news, going to Ac/DC this Sunday, can't wait.
Booked tickets for the Galway Arts Festival in July. Have to see what is on in the Galway Film Fleah this year, might actually go.

Letters from the Irish Lockdown- Letter Four

Hello again world from Ireland. Well the start of the week saw a rather amazing thing happen for the first ime in two months, there was no deaths reported. Again though, as mentioned in my previous post, there have been calls to reduce the 2m rule for social distancing . During the week however I spotted a well known beauty spot populated by revellers and people enjoying the weather with no enforcement of the 2m rule. I would honestly say I would not be surprised if you did see a surge in cases in the area and all over Ireland in the next few days/weeks.   There are also calls to open some hair salons as a lot of people miss the ability to visit them for appointments. Even in the last couple of days coming up to the bank holiday , major beauty spots nearby to me ended up being closed to prevent large gatherings there.
